#3 KENT ELITE vs BANDZBOIZ | FULL 1ST HALF | April 21, 2024 | D1 (All-Star) Season 1

BandzBoiz looks to get back on track after dropping 2 straight. They seemed a bit discombobulated as a team in recent weeks. a little out of sorts. But they head into tonights matchup with #3 Kent Elite without the 2nd ranked player in the league, Yadel Hedego. Out with a mild stomach illness. Or was it a lower leg injury. Not sure, the injury report was pretty vague. Averaging 18.3 points, 13.8 rebounds and 3.3 blocks. It will be interesting to see how they fare.

BandzBoiz jumps out to an early lead. Chancellor Hilliard with the second of his early 3's

Hilliard with the sweet dime inside to Alonzo Johnson. And 1!

like I said, BandzBoiz has been a little off the past few weeks. Down 1, Hilliard with an uncharacteristic miss. ohhh my!

But Vick Toor was outstanding all game for Kent Elite. He ends the half showing off his midrange to put Kent Elite up 40-35 at the half.

And Toor continues where he left off, scoring 19 of Kent Elite's 29 [14 of 20, 16 of 24] points to start the second half. BandzBoiz truly had no answer for him.

He hits this one to go up 9, 64-55.

Then Robert Wright goes HAM! jab step back pow! walk down, tween tween-tween step back. pow! cross me skkkkrt layup Wright scored 8 straight for BandzBoiz to keep it close. Finishing off with the hesitation layup to cut Kent Elite's lead to just 4.

later in the half Wright again with a saucy take.

But Vick will not let his team relenquish the lead. attacking one of the leagues premier interior defenders. did he pull out the sky hook?!

Wright was in his bag all game

Pretty finish by Vick on the out of bounds

And Kent Elite goes on to win by 9, 83-74

Vick Toor scores the most points by a player this season with 44 points for the game! He had 30 of them in the second half.

Robert Wright had 22 for BandzBoiz who have dropped 3 straight.

Kent Elite moves to 3 and 2 on the season and face #1 Universe 7 who haven't lost this season.
